The Cultural Association of Kalo Chorio of Larnaca* was founded on June 13th 2007, aiming to organise and promote cultural events in our community, as well as to offer healthy occupation to community residents of all ages. So far, approximately sixty adult fellow villagers of ours are members of the Association. Additionally, a great number of Primary School and Gymnasium students actively participate in the activities of the Association. As far as the current year is concerned, the Association operates a dancing, a theatrical and an Art department, as well as a choir.   

The Cultural Association has already organised several successful events. More specifically:

• A musical night dedicated to Greek popular songs called "Rempetika" was held on June 6th.
• A Christmas event with songs, theatre performances and dances was held on the 28th of December by members of our Association.
• The choir of the Association sang psalms during the circumambulation of the Epitaph.
• The Cultural Association undertook the preparation and presentation of the artistic programme on the night of the community’s twinning with the Municipality of Vula.
• The Association took the initiative to present a photo exhibition about the wild nature of our village.
